At the end of January, Arginta, in a joint venture with ENERGY SAVING TECHNOLOGIES LLC, signed a €5.5 million contract for the design and reconstruction of the Okhtyrka Wastewater Treatment Plant in Ukraine.
This is our first full-scale project in Ukraine, although we have been active in the country since 2017. The project is financed by NEFCO and aims to reconstruct the treatment plant to serve 30,000 PE, with an average flow of 4,000 m³/day.
Over the 16-month project duration, we will construct a new mechanical pretreatment and sludge treatment chain. The biological treatment system will be fully reconstructed, integrating biological nitrogen removal to meet high environmental standards.
